Scanlators, the new DRM Part II

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

As in Part 1 (click here to view), Part 2 will go into the use of watermarks and how it is not a good solution. Again, a DRM is another term for Digital Rights Management. It is a term used for access control of technologies that are use by manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders, and now [...]

Scanlators, the new DRM

Friday, November 11th, 2011

It has come to my attention that groups have been trying to stop manga sites from “ripping” their work by using PDFs with passwords and other “secure” options (that includes watermarks and stamps)  to prevent them from uploading images to the sites. In a sense, they are creating a DRM (Digital Rights Management). Here’s my [...]

Server status and such other bs…

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

There has been a few things that have happened here over the last month. One of the not few things is ad revenue… still 0.00$ like a boss. First of all, the server has been formatted and everything not of value has been deleted. Everything of value has been saved. Second, because of this server [...]

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Before I start, I am a fan of both, the battlefield franchise and the cod franchise. I will try to make a just review for this game.

Logitech, WHY SO AWESOME?

Thursday, May 26th, 2011

For those who still read this, I have to say, Logitech has the BEST customer service I have seen in a long time. I had a mouse, and the left click started double clicking. My roommate was like “hey that’s a Logitech, they have a very good warranty,” and sure enough, there I was emailing [...]

HOW DOES I RUN IROFFER ON WINDOWS?

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Okay, here’s my “I bet I can get this bot up in 10 minutes.” stupid guide for stupid people. As some of you know, iroffer was originally created by the people at http://iroffer.org/. Today, there’s a more up-to-date fork of it created by Dirk Meyer called iroffer-dinoex which is at the current version (at this [...]

Urgent: Recruiting Competent Timer [1]

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Yes I need a competent timer. SiegN joined the military and left me to die with 500+ line scripts. I hate timing. I hate timing. I hate timing. Episode 7 is at Release Candidates, but there are scenes that just suck (timing wise). So if you don’t SUCK and are willing to beast out 500+ [...]
